Working with others for survival and success: Collaboration & Co-operation

Description:
Businesses are facing challenges due to the COVID-19 crisis and the restrictions that keep customers and their cash from our goods and services.

About this event:
This workshop is hosted by the Creative Quarter as part of a business support programme, created thanks to the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund, provided by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and HM Government. Presented by Steve Hobbs, Asking Better Questions Ltd

Many of us are facing challenges because of the COVID-19 crisis and the restrictions that keep customers and their cash from enjoying our goods and services. Our neighbours on the high street are experiencing the same.

This workshop will be a lesson in collaboration and co-operation that can help work through the challenges of the Pandemic. People will explore what we can do now, together, to increase the likelihood that we are ALL still here trading in 6 or 12 months time and to ensure there is an attractive, thriving High Street for our customers to come back to post-Pandemic.

You may already have some plans in place that have worked for you since the Lockdown began in March. You may have seen some good ideas from your neighbours that are worth considering. Bring that knowledge with you and let’s share with our fellow owners, managers and staff to see what we can come up with that can help us respond to COVID and successfully high street recovery collectively.

We’ll explore one or more of the following topics in developing our collective collaborative approach:

  • What’s worked for me during COVID-19 and could work for you
  • What you and I could do together to respond to COVID-19
  • What could work for the whole area
  • What support could collectively benefit us from wider stakeholders
  • How we could continue to collaborate to build and maintain momentum to ensure the High Street Recovery is successful

The workshop will include breakouts, capture thinking and options, define and rank priorities and actions and provide a clear report to fellow High Street owners of what has been discussed and is recommended for us all to consider.
