Well today you are in luck, as Simply Business, one of the UK’s largest business insurance and landlord insurance providers, have launched their ‘Business Boost‘ giveaway. In which one lucky winner will get a grant of £25,000 for their business!
What is Business Boost?
Launched in 2020, each year Simply Business giveaway a cash grant to help one self-employed person start or grow their business. For 2022, it’s £25,000!
Simply Business have detailed some stats regarding small business owners in the UK, and why they want to help.
- Small businesses account for 99% of all British businesses and contribute a combined £2 trillion in annual turnover to the UK economy – we need them to bounce back
- For many small businesses, getting access to funding is difficult
- 70% see rising costs as their single biggest challenge in 2022
- 63% are dealing with a loss of customers
How to enter
It’s simple to enter, visit simplybusiness.co.uk/business-boost/ and complete the online form. You will be asked for your contact details, and a box to tell them about your business and why you should win.
You have until 17th August 2022 to enter the giveaway!

Who has won the Business Boost giveaway?
Since Simply Business launched the Business Boost giveaway in 2020, there have been 2 lucky winners. Bristol-based Watch This Sp_ce won £25,000 in 2021, and Norfolk-based Rowan Bay won £10,000 in 2020.
Terms and Conditions
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Entrants’ businesses must not have an annual turnover exceeding £500,000 or have received over £50,000 in private funding in the past two years (this does not include government grants). See the full terms and conditions.
