What can you do with Ahrefs Webmaster Tools?
For SEO, these tools are great for showing insights about how well optimised your website really is. With these free tools you can;
- Monitor your website’s health
You can scan your website for 100+ common SEO issues, and see how your website stacks up. With these issues, you will see recommendations and guidance on how to fix them, and make improvements to your website to avoid them.
- Identify backlinks and see their value
You can see all the backlinks your website has, get insights into their value, which backlinks are new, old, or broken.
- See exact keywords that bring traffic to your website
You can see the exact keywords and phrases that bring traffic to different pages of your website. With metrics such as search volume, traffic value and keyword difficulty, you can identify areas of improvement for your SEO optimisation.
You can also set custom email alerts for your website’s health, new and lost backlinks, and keyword rankings.
Ahrefs Webmaster Tools vs Google Search Console
Google Search Console may be the go-to tool for site indexing, but the reports for coverage and site issues are not very helpful. Search Console does show errors on your website, but is not very helpful when it comes to fixing them.
