Google have added some new features to Search Console, you can now set what performance reports you want to show in the SERPs, and email preferences for account users.
The Google Webmasters twitter account announced the new features on Monday, 30th March.
You can get to both of these new features by clicking the ‘User Settings’ icon in the top right.
Performance Report Preferences
When you search directly for a website you manage, or your search returns a result for your website, you will see the performance report appear at the top.
With this new feature, you can now hide this from showing in the search results for any website you manage through Search Console.
You can do this by going to the new ‘User Settings’ areas, found in the top right.
From here, go to ‘Search Console in Search Results’, and you will see a list of all the properties under you account.
All your properties will be set to ‘Show’ as default. To stop a report showing for a property, click on ‘Show’ and select ‘Don’t Show’.
If you don’t want any to show, you can un-check the box at the top of the page ‘Enable for properties listed below’.
Email Preferences
You can now see which emails Google will send you related to your Search Console account, and choose to subscribe or unsubscribe to them.
